WHAT IS RETINOL?
Retinol is a form of vitamin A that is widely used for slowing down the aging process of the skin. It is the most widely used anti-wrinkle ingredient in the world, and is also the first choice for dermatologists, due to the science behind its chemical makeup. Many dermatologists deem Retinol as an ingredient that is recommendable to all.
HOW DOES RETINOL WORK?
Retinol prompts surface skin cells to wash away rapidly, making way for new cell growth to occur underneath. Retinol hampers the breakdown of collagen, and thickens the under-layer of the skin where wrinkles originate RetinoSoie minimizes the appearance of wrinkles; bolsters the thickness and elasticity of the skin; slows the breakdown of collagens (which helps to keep skin firm); and lightens any brown spots that have been caused by sun exposure.
Typically, Retinol causes peeling and redness in the first few weeks of use, although this process is essential to thickening and toughening the skin.
By curbing the production of melanin, a darker pigment, Retinol reduces and removes spots that give the skin an uneven, unnatural tone.
DIRECTIONS OF USE
Apply few drops to a clean face. Start by applying once every other day and, once you are sure that your skin can tolerate the RetinoSoie , increase the dosage to one application per day.
Retinol does not partner well with sensitive skin. We recommend the use of SPF 30 or higher before going out or exposing your skin to sunlight.
Avoid sun exposure, especially between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., when the sun’s rays are at their most intense. Wear sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher, and cover any exposed skin with protective clothing, such as a long-sleeved shirt, pants, or a wide-brimmed hat when you are outside. “You can not treat sun damage, and then choose not protect yourself from the sun.”
